Welcome to Sal’s New York Grill and Catering. We are a family run business, and have been serving Alaskans since 1994. Sal’s New York Grill consists of a small pizzeria and grill which we operate out of the World Famous Chilkoot Charlie’s. As Chilkoot Charlie’s has the capacity to hold up to one thousand people, we are used to a fast paced and brisk business where we serve piping hot fresh food to hungry people, seven days a week, 365 days per year. In addition to the Grill at Chilkoot Charlie’s, Sal caters indoor and outdoor events around the State of Alaska. Sal has catered Professional Conferences for almost a thousand people, Dinner for the former Governor of Alaska, Weddings in Anchorage, and the Matanuska Valley, Birthday Parties, Corporate Luncheons, and Intimate Dinners in people’s private homes. Some of you may know Sal from his antics on the Bob & Mark morning show, and others may have heard Sal’s commercials on KSKA Public Radio. Our associations are as varied as our food. Sal can prepare comfort food as well as gourmet food, and will always make your events smooth and worry free no matter how big or how small. Sal offers competitive prices and professional service.
